Léonie ‎– En Alabama / Wahala Manitou 7" (1971)

Here's a little treat for all of you who collect French rarities!  A nice little 7" by Léonie Lousseau featuring two insanely good tracks! "En Alabama" (Written by the one and only Jean-Claude Vannier and Sébastien Poitrenaud) is basically a vocal version of Vannier's library groove "Je M'Appelle Geraldine", a bonus track from his 1972 masterpiece "L'Enfant Assassin Des Mouches".  On the B side we find a nice tune written by French pop star and soundtracker - Christope called "Wahala Manitou", a bit of a slow burner, but equally as engaging.  This single is pretty hard to find in the states, so I hope you enjoy this fresh vinyl rip!  320 kbps naturally with cover scans included.

Very informative article. Pretty sure people would love to go to that place for shopping. Specially to those who are semi naughty or semi conservative people. I guess there are a lot of things their that can be bought. Wedding sarees

I've been collecting, seeking out, and listening to French rarities for almost 10 years and have never heard of this. It proves that this is a lifelong treasure hunt!

I can't listen to it as deposit files is blocked in India. Funny enough, I am in the same city the chap above referenced in his s/n- Jodphur. I look forward to listening to this when I am back in the U.S.
