Alessandro Alessandroni & Nora Orlandi - Music For Strange Situations (2003)

Here is some crazy stuff by soundtrack gurus Alessandro Alessandroni & Nora Orlandi. The title of this comp definitely fits the sound. Alessandroni is best know for his whistling work with Ennio Morricone, but apparently he has made around 50 soundtracks and other albums himself. Alessandroni is a fuzztone guitar virtuoso, and many of his psychedelic moods can be found here on this album. The tracks alter between the two Italian composers throughout the mix and take us deep into strange moods, psychedelic atmospheres, cocktail party jams and eerie choir arrangements. There isn't really any filler on this disc if you ask me, both of these composers are very edgy and keep things fresh and spooky. Happy listening!!

Tracks:
1. Spiagge Azzurre (Alessandro Alessandroni)
2. The Bondage Suite # 4 (Orlandi/Ormi)
3. Cielo Verde (Alessandro Alessandroni)
4. Vocalisation (Alessandro Alessandroni)
5. The Bondage Suite # 2 (Orlandi/Ormi)
6. Aliante Giallo (2a Versione) (Alessandro Alessandroni)
7. The Bondage Suite # 3 (Orlandi/Ormi)
8. Arioso Spirituale (Alessandro Alessandroni)
9. Aliante Giallo (Alessandro Alessandroni)
10. The Bondage Suite # 1 (Orlandi/Ormi)
11. Preludietto (Alessandro Alessandroni)

Would love to see a new link for this one. Some great stuff elsewhere here, thanks - esp. for the Lee Hazlewood.

Please reupload, I love a piece from Nora Orlandi called "Body Fox", and I'm sure that the record you are kindly posting will have similar stuff.

Thanks and one more vote for the reupload.

As I see all these requests for a repost, I thought I should post the best rip I could find of it...No idea if this is the same rip for the Alessandroni & his sister Nora soundtrack...this is the one that seems to be doing the blog rounds:

This rip is 50meg and 192kbps - if anyone comes across a better rip please post the link (or if the original rip posted here is higher quality then I would like to add my voice to the call for a re-up!)
